Things to consider when borrowing more on your mortgage.

Applications for additional borrowing are subject to the loan to value and must meet our current lending requirements. Maximum age is 70.

Minimum amount is £10,000. (A personal loan could be an option if you need less)

Minimum term 3 years - maximum term 35 years if less than £500,000 (30 years if borrowing £500,000 or more)

Additional borrowing is available on a capital & interest repayment basis. You may be able to borrow more on an interest only basis, subject to criteria.

Protecting your money

We are a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). The Scheme can pay compensation to customers if they are eligible and the Bank is unable to pay claims against it.
